In February, the export of diesel gasoline in African countries was nearly twice – from 1.27 million tons from January to 684 thousand tons.
Russia clearly reduced the supply of diesel fuel in Africa against the rear of regular attacks of Ukraine drones in oil refineries (refineries). About this writes Moscow Times on Thursday, March 13.
Thus, in February, the export of diesel in African countries fell almost double – from 1.27 million tons from January to 684 thousand tons.
Exports in Brazil (by 41%, up to 344 thousand tons) and other South American countries (from 40 thousand tons to zero) also reduced. Delivers to Turkey, which is the largest export market for Russian diesel, reduced by 12% to 1.13 million tons.
The amount of transshipment from the ship to the ship conducted in Greece, Romania, Italy and Portugal reduced by 17% to 268 thousand tons.
According to experts, the reduction in export volume is associated with an increase in the number of “incidents” in refineries. According to Reuters, the amount of unexpected capacities, from the initial refinement of oil to Russia’s refineries in February, rose to 3.5 million tons from 2.3 million tons in January, including emergency stops of Ryazan NPK, Saratov, Syzransky and Volgograd refineries after the drone.
According to the agency, Russia as a full reduced export of oil products by 7.5% compared to January and 13.6% in the annual Calculus – up to 8.72 million tons.
Russia remains a major diesel supplier for North and West African countries, as well as for Brazil. At the same time, Russia’s exporting depends on the implementation of the priority work to ensure the domestic market, in particular, during high demand in the heat.
Remember, on March 4, the armed forces of Ukraine struck a number of important objects in the territory of the Russian Federation. We talk about refineries in the Samara region, oil pumping infrastructure in the Rostov region and other purposes.
And on March 3, Russia announced explosions in the UFA refinery. Prior to that, the locals heard the sounds of a drone.
