Denis Shmygal thanked the government of Great Britain and G7 partners for a mechanism making money in Russia for Ukraine.
The first 752 million pounds from the UK, which are given revenue from Russia’s frozen properties, enter Ukraine. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal on Telegram on Friday, March 7.
“Now we have received 752 million pounds as part of the G7 Era initiative.
The Prime Minister thanked the Great Britain government and G7 partners for the mechanism that forced Russian funds to work for Ukraine.
“We hope that all the Sovereign owners of the Russian Federation in the future will be confiscated and transferred in favor of our state,” Shmygal added.
Earlier it was learned that the UK would provide Ukraine loans of 2.26 billion pounds (about 2.93 billion dollars), due to revenue from frozen Russian ownership.
