The Ukrainian defense industry company has entered into an agreement with the Canadian company Roshel tolocalize the manufacture of armored vehicles in Ukraine, which will speed up the provision of equipment to military units and strengthen the national economy. This was announced by the Minister for the Strategic Industry of Industry German Smetanin on Monday, February 24.
“The Ukraine defense industry expands the geography of partnerships. The armored vehicles of the Canadian company are already in use by the Ukrainian military. Making this equipment in Ukraine will significantly accelerate its supply to units of Military.
The company will receive the necessary technical documentation and components for the manufacture of machines.
The CEO of Ao Oleg Gulyak noted that the symbol of western and Ukrainian weapons should be a powerful basis for our defense forces.
Earlier it was learned that Ukraine, along with the Belgian Division of Thales, would create opposition missiles. This cooperation will strengthen the Ukrainian defense industry and the protection of critical infrastructure.
It is also reported that the Ministry of Defense of the Ukraine has ordered a strong controlmaster 200 (CM200) strong radar system from Thales. This ensures the discovery of wind targets at a distance of up to 250 km and at a height of up to 24 km.
