More and more Ukrainians who are not yet working since visiting language courses will now work.

More and more Ukraine refugees are working in Germany. This was proven by the Federal Institute for Research (BIB) data, NTV reported on Monday, February 24.

It has been mentioned, despite the recent deterioration of the labor market situation, 43% of them work in the fourth quarter of 2024.

In the spring only 30% of the Ukrainians work, and in the day of 2022 – only 16%.

More and more asylum seekers who are new cannot work due to visiting language courses, now go to the labor market.

A major problem remains the level of the German language. Only 27% of Ukraine refugees have received a certificate that confirms language knowledge at B2 level, required for many professions.

Note that in November 2024 in Germany the number of working citizens of Ukraine reached 296,000 people.

In the Netherlands, 59% of Ukraine’s refugees are already working. Usually, Ukrainians from 25 to 45 years old are working.
