It is noted that the funds will be charged to pay off the bank’s debt to a stabilization loan.
The trial has been ongoing since 2015, and during this time, Bakhmatyuk representatives through their actions really delayed the trial, while trying to avoid the fulfillment of obligations under the loan agreement and the contract of guarantee, Sergey Boyko, head of the legal and judicial ownership of the legal NBU department.
In 2014, the PJSC Vieybi Bank entered into an agreement with a stabilization loan with the National Bank for 1.2 billion UAH. Bakhmatyuk was entrusted with the return of credit funds and entered into a NBU guarantee agreement. As a result, he took personal obligations to pay off the debt of a financial institution to the National Bank.
Since both the bank and its owner did not fulfill the obligations, the National Bank in 2015 filed a lawsuit with a claim for the collection of debts from it.
Today, in the court’s consideration, five more cases remain in NBU’s statements to Bakhmatyuk for PJSC viei Bank and PAO Commercial Bank Financial Initiative debts.
