According to the results of 2024, the NAEC had a great plan and sent 1 billion KWH of more electricity to the Ukrainian energy system. It was said by acting chairman of the company’s board Peter Kotin, the Atatomist’s press service press service said.

According to Kotin, Energoatom continues to work firmly, providing more than 60% of the needs of citizens and the electricity economy. Last year, the total duration of planned repair of power units was reduced by another 59 days. And the arrangement campaign is planned in a way that is in the cold weather, including now, all nine power units found in the territory regulated by Ukraine work.
The leader of Energoatom also noted that in the past year the company sent UAH 116.3 billion (without VAT) of its own fund or 58% of net income to pay for PSO, that is, in support of fixed tariffs of electricity for the population. In budgets of all levels in 2024, 28.8 billion UAH tax payment is paid, which is 35% more than 2023.
According to Kotin, the results of the Energoatom in 2024 “prove the high efficiency of the work of the domestic atomic generation and the need to develop in the long run.”
Remember that Ukraine’s population supports the completion of power units No. 3 and No. 4 in khmelnitsky nuclear power plant. Last year, its number of fans rose to 80%. Generally, 76% of Ukrainians support the further development of atom’s energy.
