January’s low indicators of Autogaz import are partly due to resource accumulation in December to increase product excise rates since the beginning of 2025.
In January 2025, the fuel supply from overseas to Ukraine reached 46.3 thousand tons, lowest in May 2022. It was reported by the ENKORR Industry Edition with reference to A-95 Consulting Group data.

Car supplies were reduced by 53%, up to 3.7 thousand tons, metals – by 45%, up to 2.7 thousand tons. Importing auto gas is also reduced from Baltic countries: from Lithuania – 2.3 times, to 5.9 thousand tons, from Latvia – by 3.8 times, up to 0.6 thousand tons.
Remember that in September 2024, President Vladimir Zelensky signed a law on increasing excise taxes on fuel.
