Russian shelling significantly affects its own gas manufacture, but this effect is temporary.
In the next heat season, Ukraine will need an import of at least 1 billion cubic meters of gas. This is said by the Minister of Energy, German Galushchenko, who noticed that volumes depend on the consequences of Russia’s attack on gas infrastructure. The minister said this in an interview Interfax-Ukraine.
“Of course, we need gas imports. And relatives in volumes, we can see what we will leave during this time, considering the consequences of Russia’s attack on the gas infrastructure, “said the minister.
According to him, an import of at least 1 billion cubic meters of “blue fuel” will be needed.
At the same time, the minister mentioned that in addition to his own funding, the group Naftogaz It has open credit lines, in particular, from EBRD. Negotiations are also carried out with partners about the possibility of providing gas as a grant.
The minister also said that Russia’s shelling significantly affects gas production, but it is a temporary influence.
Earlier it was reported that the actual price of gas sales in Ukraine in October 2024 fell 0.6%, up to 14406 hryvnias per 1 thousand cubic meters without VAT. This is proven by the Ministry of Economics data. After growing for five months, the gas dropped the price.
Keep in mind that gas prices in Europe are declining on the fifth day to follow due to soft and windy weather, helping to store reserves from rapid fatigue.
