The dollar fell to a psychological limit on exchanges

The hryvnia rate is strengthened in connection with the dollar and euro with the exchange points on the last day of the week’s working day. It was reported by RBC-Ukraine that there was a reference to market tracking data on Friday, January 31.

The average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine was reduced by another 10 kopecks, up to 42.00 hryvnias, and the euro fell 5 kopecks, at 44.05 hryvnias. Generally, in January, the dollar fell to 50 kopecks, and the Euro – 35 kopecks.

Now at the exchange points they buy a dollar, on average, 41.50 UAH, Euro – 43.35 UAH each.

In the interbank, the American currency is at 41.76-41.81 UAH/Dollar (Purchase and Sale) -unchanged compared to the closing of the previous day.

Yesterday, the National Bank reduced the dollar to Hryvnia for the second day to a row-41.8242 hryvnias (-0.1052 UAH). In general, in one month, the dollar rate was reduced by 19 kopecks (compared to 42.03 UAH/dollars until December 31, 2024). The official Euro exchange rate is 43.5097 UAH (-0,1095 UAH).

Remember, last week in Ukraine, demand for money was reduced. The dollar rate fell by 20 kopecks and sank below 42 hryvnias.

On January 20 – 24, the NBU sells 756.25 million dollars in the interbank. It’s 25.5% less than last week of January 13 – 17 – 1.015 billion dollars. Since the beginning of the year, the NBU sells nearly $ 3.2 billion in the interbank.
