The rate of hryvnia has moved to a reduction in the dollar and the euro to the cash market. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to data monitoring on Tuesday, January 28th.
Thus, the average exchange rate of dollar in Ukraine increased by 10 kopecks – up to 42.30 hryvnias, the euro also grown by 10 kopecks – up to 44.45 hryvnias.
Now, in the exchange offices, they buy a dollar on average 41.80 hryvnias, the Euro – 43.75 hryvnias.
In the interbank, the American currency is at 41.98-42.01 UAH/Dollar (buying and selling) -5 kopecks less than the closing of the previous day.
Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar in Hryvnia on Tuesday after a three -day decline – 41.9479 Hryvnias (+0.0226 UAH). The official euro exchange rate is 44.146 hryvnias (+0,2292 UAH).
Remember, last week in Ukraine, demand for money was reduced. The dollar rate fell by 20 kopecks and sank below 42 hryvnias.
On January 20-24, the NBU sold $ 756.25 million in the interbank. It’s 25.5% less than last week of January 13-17 – 1.015 billion dollars. Since the beginning of the year, the NBU sells nearly $ 3.2 billion in the interbank.
