The defenders of Ukraine are not included in the payment of military fees, the corresponding bill was signed by the president.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law on exemption on payment of military fees for people participating in the conflict. This was reported on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada.
It was noted that on July 7, the head of state returned the signed document to parliament. The law will take effect from the day of its publication.
It should be noted that the document eliminates the payment of military fees for military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, privates, commanding staff, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, State Security Department of Ukraine, the State special communications and information protection services of Ukraine, other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine and other persons involved in ensuring national security and defense, repelling and preventing the armed aggression of the Russian Federation under martial law.
Earlier, the Rada said that Ukrainians began to pay less taxes. Tax revenues in the budget of Ukraine have significantly decreased – from UAH 73 billion in May to UAH 45 billion in June.
