In the interbank market, the American currency added another 10 kopecks in value – to 41.96-41.98 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine has again increased the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia. The American currency updated its historical maximum for the third consecutive day, according to data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, December 18.
So, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 41.9048 UAH (+0.0777 UAH). The euro exchange rate also increased and will be UAH 43.9581 (+0.0438 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency added another 10 kopecks in value – to 41.96-41.98 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In exchange offices, the dollar exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks – to 42.05 UAH.
We remind you that since the beginning of the year, the dollar exchange rate has increased by almost 4 hryvnias (10.3%) from 37.98 UAH/dollar on December 31, 2023.
It was also reported that last week the NBU sold more than $1 billion in the interbank market – the highest volume in the last six months. Since the beginning of the year, the regulator has sold more than $31 billion.
