Selling individual grain crops in other countries will be much easier: the government has decided to such effect.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine excludes wheat in the list of goods for which a license is required. This was reported to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on Friday, July 8.
The message states that Decree No. 759 of July 1, On Amendments to Annexes 1 and 5 to Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1424 of December 29, 2021, came into force. It provides for a change in the list of goods, its export and import are subject to licensing and quotas.
“According to the ordinance, wheat and a mixture of wheat and rye (meslin) are not included in the list of goods subject to licensing,” the ministry said.
It will be recalled that earlier by the Cabinet of Ministers the export ban was lifted and licensing for oats was introduced. However, the same decree imposes a ban on the export of nitrogen fertilizers.
Earlier it was reported that the Cabinet of Ministers did not issue permission for the export of coal, fuel oil and gas of its own production this year.
