The court seized billions of assets in Ukraine of the largest Russian corporation. Part of their income went to “sponsoring” the war against our country, the SBU reported.
Ukraine seized the corporate and real estate rights of 11 businesses, the real owners of which were the Russian state corporations Rosneft, Rosatom and Gazprom. This was reported by the press service of the SBU on Friday, July 8.
The service states that in the course of operational and investigative actions it was established that part of the profits of these businesses went to the preparation and conduct of Russia’s war against our country and to fund sabotage and reconnaissance activities. group.
The estimated total amount of corporate rights arrested by the court exceeded UAH 2.1 billion, the SBU notes.
The arrest was imposed on 46 real estate they owned.
“Thanks to the timely arrest of these assets, it is possible to block attempts by actual owners to“ rewrite ”them to figureheads in order to maintain control over them,” the service added.
Earlier, Germany removed Gazprom from the country’s largest UGS facility Rehden with a volume of 4 billion cubic meters.
Austrian authorities have also decided to transfer to other suppliers the largest underground gas storage facility in Haidach, owned by Gazprom.
