The average dollar selling rate decreased to 41.80 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate decreased to 44.20 hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened against the dollar and the euro on the last working day of the week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Friday, December 13.
So, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased by 10 kopecks – to 41.80 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate also fell by 10 kopecks, to 44.20 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 41.30 Hryvnia, euros for 43.50 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.63-41.65 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – so far unchanged compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank reduced the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate after three days of growth – UAH 41.6588 (-0.0353 UAH). The official euro exchange rate is UAH 43.7042 (-0.0955 UAH).
We remind you that on December 12, the National Bank unexpectedly increased the discount rate. The regulator made this decision in response to inflation rising to 11.2% in November.
Earlier it became known that Ukrainian banks have agreed to limits on transfers to cards. These will be reduced and will depend on the level of risk of the client and the availability of a confirmed source of income.
