The average dollar selling rate in Ukraine remained at 41.90 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate dropped to 44.30 hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate stopped declining against the dollar and strengthened against the euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Thursday, December 12.
Thus, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine remained at 41.90 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate decreased by 5 kopecks to 44.30 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 41.40 Hryvnia, and euros for 43.60 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.66-41.69 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – so far unchanged compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate against the Hryvnia on Thursday for the third day in a row – 41.6941 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0822 UAH). This is less than a penny below the historical maximum reached on December 4 (41.6972 UAH/dollar).
The official euro exchange rate today is 43.7997 UAH per 1 euro (-0.0218 UAH).
Earlier it became known that Ukrainian banks have agreed to limits on transfers to cards. These will be reduced and will depend on the risk level of the client and if he has a proven source of income.
It was also reported that in November Ukraine’s international reserves increased by 9.2% (by $3.347 billion) to $39.925 billion. Their volume increased after the contract for two months.
