The Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) approved investments in Ukraine worth more than 1.3 billion euros. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmigal.
We are talking about eight projects in support of the public and private sectors. In particular, in the field of restoration of transport and energy infrastructure, in support of government programs for the development of distributed generation and improvement of energy efficiency.
According to Shmygal, part of the funds are non-repayable grants.
It was previously reported that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will allocate 300 million euros to update the fleet of dual-power electric locomotives.
