The National Bank of Ukraine increased the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia. The dollar hit a new all-time high for the second day in a row. This was reported on the regulator’s website.
The official exchange rate for December 4 is set at the following level: 41.6972 UAH. for 1 dollar (+0.0511 UAH). The official euro exchange rate will be 43.8238 hryvnia per 1 euro (+0.0996 UAH).
The previous maximum was recorded on December 3 – 41.6461 UAH/dollar.
Since the beginning of the year, the dollar has increased in price by 9.8% (from 37.9824 to December 31, 2023).
We remind you that banks have increased the import of cash currency in Ukraine to the maximum since the beginning of 2024. The amount of cash foreign currency imported by banks in Ukraine in October reached $1.684 billion.
