In exchange for sending workers, the Russian side offered to share its experience in building social housing in Zimbabwe.
The aggressor country Russia asked Zimbabwe to provide labour, mainly for the construction sector. This was reported yesterday by the Zimbabwean publication The Herald.
It is reported that this issue was discussed in a meeting between Zimbabwe’s Minister of National Housing and Social Services Soda Zemu and Russia’s Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Community Services Nikita Stasishin at an international forum in Cairo , Egypt.
In exchange for sending workers, the Russian side offered to share its experience in building social housing in Zimbabwe. In this regard, Zemu said that his country is interested in this and invited the Russian delegation to Zimbabwe to fully discuss cooperation in the provision of labor.
Earlier it became known that Russian companies started looking for workers in African countries. This is due to the growing labor shortage caused by the war against Ukraine. In the first half of 2024, the number of vacancies in the Russian Federation for representatives of the “dark continent” will increase tenfold.
The media also reported that Russia was fraudulently recruiting women from Africa to assemble drones. Young African women were promised free plane tickets, money and adventures in Europe.
