Farmers received more than 24,000 hectares of land surveyed and cleared of mines and explosives in October. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy on Wednesday, November 6.
In total, since the beginning of 2024, government services and operators have assessed more than 289,000 hectares of agricultural land. Of these, more than 255 thousand hectares have been transferred to farmers for exploitation.
Most lands surveyed:

Kherson region: 19,600 hectares in October, 230,400 hectares since the beginning of the year

Nikolaev region: 2,400 hectares in October, 16,500 hectares since the beginning of the year

Kharkov region: 1,300 hectares in October, 21,500 hectares since the beginning of the year.
In October, 66 mechanical demining vehicles and 789 pyrotechnic teams – more than 4,000 specialists – were involved in humanitarian demining and rapid response.
