Liquefied gas prices continued to rise in October. So, over the month, the average price of gas at gas stations increased by 1.63 UAH per liter – up to 34.85 UAH/l. This was reported by the industry publication enkorr in relation to price tracking by A-95 Consulting Group.
It is noted that from the beginning of autumn the increase reached more than 6 UAH/l, the excise tax increase was fully recovered, and more.
Last month, the price of autogas in the Dnepropetrovsk VostokGaz network and the Kirovograd Ruhr group increased even more (by 3 UAH), adding 6.5 UAH from September 1, to 35.49 UAH/l.
Gasoline prices at UPG prices increased by at least (0.83 kopecks) due to more active growth in September. In just two months, the price of gas in the network increased by 6.10 UAH, up to 34.02 UAH/l.
In other networks, both regional and national, LPG in October increased on average from 1 to 2.17 UAH.
In the Avantage 7 network, the average gas price remains the lowest in the country – 32.95 UAH/l, although it increased by 2 UAH in October, and from September – 5.5 UAH/l. Spotwise only cheaper than Marshal in the Zhytomyr region (31.9 UAH/l) and BRSM-Neft in the Nikolaev region (32.29 UAH/l).
The difference between the prices for the resource at the premium and discounts for the month narrowed by 51 kopecks and on November 1 reached 2.76 UAH/l. But in monthly dynamics, the gap between these segments on average increased from UAH 2.54 in September to UAH 2.88 in October.
It was noted that in October, LPG sales were weak with weekly fluctuations of +/-1-2%. The decline in the straits began in September after a significant increase in prices for this type of fuel. Then, according to operators, sales decreased by 6-7% compared to August.
The price ratio for liquefied gas and A-95 at the pump is about 65%. According to representatives of the retail business, the main factor influencing demand is no longer price.
“Spills will not increase even if the price drops by 0.5-1 UAH/l. It might have helped if fuel sales were growing, but they are falling in the same way as gas from DP,” said of business representatives.
Earlier it was reported that in the largest gas station network price for autogas exceeded 30 hryvnia.
We remind you that the Verkhovna Rada voted on changes to the Tax Code regarding the increase of excise taxes on fuel. From September 1, excise tax rates on fuel increased from 215.5 euros to 242.6 euros. Prices for diesel fuel increased from 139.5 euros to 177.6 euros. Autogas rates increased from 52 to 165 euros.
