The volume of electricity imports decreased in all directions – mainly from Poland, by 77%.
In October, Ukraine reduced electricity imports by 58% compared to September – up to 181 thousand MWh. This is confirmed by ExPro Electricity monitoring data.
Most of the electricity is supplied from Hungary, 32.8% of the total. Slovakia is in second place with 25.4%, and Romania is in third place with 24.8%.
In general, the volume of electricity imports decreased in all directions – mainly from Poland, by 77%.
At the same time, compared to October 2023, electricity imports to Ukraine increased 9.5 times.

We remind you that Ukraine and the European Union have agreed to increase the possibility of importing electricity in the winter to 2.1 GW.
According to forecasts of Ukrenergo, this winter will be the hardest in the last three years.
