Bloomberg has updated its ranking of the richest people on the planet. The list contains 500 items. The rating was published on the publication’s website on Friday, November 1.

Of the 16 first places in the ranking, wealthy Americans occupy 14 places. The list of the richest people on the planet is headed by entrepreneur and inventor Elon Musk, who owns Tesla, SpaceX and the social network X. His wealth is estimated at $263 billion, and he earned $33.5 billion in a year.

In second place is the founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos with a fortune of 209 billion during the year he earned 32.2 billion The third place goes to the billionaire and founder of the Meta Platform Mark Zuckerberg – he has 201 billion ( +72.9 billion).

The ranking also includes French billionaire Bernard Arnault (5th place, 177 billion, -30.1 billion), billionaire and co-founder of Microsoft Bill Gates (6th place, 158 billion, +17.3 billion) and others.

Ukrainians were not included in the list this year, while Russian oligarchs enriched themselves. The ranking includes nine Russian citizens, including Vladimir Potanin (Interros, 55th place, 32.2 billion, +1.1 billion), Vladimir Lisin (NLMK, 63rd place, 28.8 billion, +4.8 billion) and Vagit Alekperov (66 places, Lukoil, 27.4 billion , +2.78 billion).
