In Ukraine, sales of new cars increased by 21%

The best seller in the new passenger car market has been the compact crossover RENAULT Duster, whose annual sales have increased by almost a quarter.

During the three quarters of 2024, 53 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 21% more than in the same period last year. Ukravtoprom reported this on Tuesday, October 29.

Analysts noted that the best seller in the new passenger car market was the compact crossover RENAULT Duster, whose annual sales increased by almost a quarter.

TOYOTA RAV-4 and MAZDA CX5 are also in the top three.

In total, the most popular “ten” new cars of 2024 include:

RENAULT Duster – 5060 units. (+24.8%);

TOYOTA RAV-4 – 3402 units. (+63.1%);

MAZDA CX5 – 1459 units. (+16.3%);

VOLKSWAGEN iD.4 – 1410 units. (-18.8%);

KIA Sportage – 1315 units. (+75.8%);

HYUNDAI Tucson – 1078 units. (-9.2%);

TOYOTA Camry – 1069 units. (+20.1%);

ŠKODA Octavia – 998 units. (+16.3%);

VOLKSWAGEN Touareg – 966 units. (+17.4%);

ŠKODA Kodiaq – 961 units. (+3.2%).

We remind you that over the year the demand for used cars in Ukraine has increased by 34%.

In August, demand for electric cars increased in Ukraine. Ukrainians bought 6,445 battery-powered vehicles.
