By the end of 2024, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine plans to attract more than $15 billion in external financing. The press service of the department reported this on Monday, October 28.
“By the end of this year, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine expects to attract more than 15 billion US dollars of external financing.
It was noted that the EU finance ministers noted the performance of Ukraine in the implementation of the Plan for the Facility of Ukraine, as they confirmed the provision of 12.5 billion euros in budget support next year.
The IMF also increased the financing plan for Ukraine for 2025 from 1.8 billion to 2.7 billion US dollars.
Ukraine and the United States signed a joint statement to give Kyiv $20 billion under the ERA mechanism of the G7 countries. The UK also announced a proposal to raise $3 billion to implement the mechanism. A final decision from all G7 countries is expected soon.
