In the interbank market, the price of the American currency increased by 3 kopecks – up to 41.27-41.31 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar and the euro on the last working day of the week. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, October 25.
So, the official dollar exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 41.3135 (+0.0505 UAH). The euro rose significantly in price – 44.7136 UAH (+0.1723 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by 3 kopecks – at 41.27-41.31 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the average dollar exchange rate is stable and does not change – 41.50 Hryvnia.
Earlier it became known that the NBU will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
It was also reported that in October the National Bank sold a record amount of foreign currency in three months.
