“The securities have already updated the minimum since November 2020 after news that the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGM) at the end of June decided not to pay dividends for 2021,” the report said.
Famil Sadigov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprom, said that “in the current situation, it is not advisable to pay dividends for 2021.” For 2021, it is proposed to pay 52.53 rubles each. per share (total 1.244 trillion rubles).
“Gazprom’s current priorities are the implementation of the investment program, including the gasification of the regions of the Russian Federation, and preparation for the coming winter. And, of course, we must be prepared to fulfill our obligations to pay of higher taxes, ”Sadigov explained.
Recall that Gazprom reduced exports by almost a third. In five and a half months, Russia has exported less than 65 billion cubic meters of gas.
