The average dollar selling rate in Ukraine is at 41.50 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate is down to 45.45 hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate stabilized against the dollar in the cash market and slightly strengthened against the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Thursday, October 17.
The average dollar selling rate in Ukraine was at 41.50 hryvnia, the euro exchange rate decreased by 5 kopecks to 45.45 hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 41.00 UAH, and euros for 44.75 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.22-41.25 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – unchanged compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate against the Hryvnia on Thursday for the third day in a row – 41.2256 UAH (+0.0117 UAH). In turn, the euro fell slightly in price – 44.9132 UAH (-0.0100 UAH).
Earlier it became known that the NBU will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
It was also reported that in the past week the National Bank sold a record amount of money.
