In the interbank market, the price of the American currency rose to the level of 41.23-41.25 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar. This trend continued for the third day, according to data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, October 16.
The official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 41.2256. for 1 dollar (+0.0117 UAH). In turn, the euro fell again in price – 44.9132 UAH (-0.0100 UAH).
On the interbank market, the price of the American currency rose by 4 kopecks to 41.23-41.25 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar rose by 5 kopecks to UAH 41.50.
Earlier it became known that the NBU will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to one – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
It was also reported that in the past week the National Bank sold a record amount of money.
