The average dollar selling rate in Ukraine remained at 41.45 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate decreased to 45.55 hryvnia.
The cash exchange rate of the hryvnia was at a stable level against the dollar for two days in a row and slightly strengthened against the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Tuesday, October 15.
So, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine remained at 41.45 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate decreased by 5 kopecks – to 45.55 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 41.00 UAH, and euros for 44.85 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency was at the level of 41.14-41.19 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday, the National Bank slightly increased the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia on Tuesday at the level of UAH 41.1963 (+0.0072 UAH). In turn, the euro exchange rate decreased and now stands at UAH 44.9575 (-0.0663 UAH).
Earlier it became known that the NBU will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
It was also reported that in September the National Bank increased sales of foreign currency by almost 20% in the interbank market – up to $3.2 billion.
