In September, Ukrainians bought 4,289 battery-powered vehicles, which was 0.2% less than in September last year.
In September, the Ukrainian vehicle fleet was filled with 4,289 battery-powered vehicles (BEVs). Ukravtoprom reported this on Tuesday, October 8.
Thus, compared to September 2023, the demand for electric vehicles has decreased by 0.2%.
At the same time, the share of new cars in BEV registrations was 21% compared to 18% last year.
The bulk of electric vehicles registered during the month were passenger cars – 4,157 units. (new – 870 pcs., used – 3287 pcs.). Out of 132 commercial electric vehicles, only 13 are new.
So, the top five new electric cars of the month include:

ZEEKR 001 – 109 units;

VOLKSWAGEN iD.4 – 103 units;

HONDA M-NV – 102 units;

BYD Song Plus – 91 units;

NISSAN Ariya – 74 units.
At the same time, the top five used electric cars registered for the first time in Ukraine are:

NISSAN Leaf – 440 units;

TESLA Model 3 – 325 units;

TESLA Model Y – 310 units;

VOLKSWAGEN e-Golf – 196 units;

HYUNDAI Kona – 179 units.
In total, since the beginning of the year, more than 39.9 thousand units have passed their first registration in Ukraine. vehicles on battery power sources, of which: 20% new and 80 used.
We remind you that in August, the Ukrainian car fleet was filled with more than 25.7 thousand used cars imported from abroad.
