The head of Ukrzaliznytsia resigned

The supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia received an application from Evgeniy Lyashchenko for the early termination of the powers of the chairman of the board.

Chairman of the Board Ukrzaliznytsia Evgeniy Lyashchenko wrote a letter of resignation. This was stated in a message on the UZ website.

“On the supervisory board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia An application was received from Evgeniy Lyashchenko regarding the early termination of the powers of the chairman of the board. The Supervisory Board intends to consider the application in the coming days and make all the necessary decisions in accordance with the current procedures,” they said. Ukrzaliznytsia.

Lyashchenko became the head of Ukrzaliznytsia in March 2023. His terms of office will last two years, until March 2025.
He replaced Alexander Kamyshin, who then headed the Ministry of Strategic Industries.
Before his appointment as the head of UZ, Lyashchenko was a member of the company’s board in the finance department.

As we already wrote, the supervisory board of NEC Ukrenergo decided to fire the head of the company, Vladimir Kudrytsky. Deputy Chairman of the Board Alexey Brekht will act as the head of Ukrenergo.
