The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine fell to 41.45 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate fell to 45.95 Hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened against the dollar and the euro on the cash market on the last working day of the week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Friday, October 4.
So, the average dollar selling rate in Ukraine decreased by 5 kopecks to 41.45 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate fell by 15 kopecks to 45.95 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 41.00 UAH, and euros for 45.25 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.19-41.21 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – unchanged compared to the previous day’s close.
Last day, the National Bank lowered the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia after growing for three days in a row – 41.2202 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.0553 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 45.5236 UAH (-0.1911 UAH).
Earlier it became known that the NBU will set the hryvnia exchange rate in a new way. The regulator presented a plan for moving to a – daily – basket of currencies to establish the official exchange rate.
It was also reported that in September the National Bank increased sales of foreign currency by almost 20% in the interbank market – up to $3.2 billion.
