In Ukraine, scheduled preventive maintenance was completed on a power unit of one of the nuclear power plants. It is now connected to the power grid, Energoatom reported on Tuesday, October 1.
Indicates that the unit was taken out of repair 12 days earlier than planned. Electricity is now being generated, after which the energy system will increase by 1000 MW.
Energoatom said the repair campaign is now in full swing, and at the start of the heating season, all nine units located in Ukrainian-controlled territory will be ready to operate in the worst months.
Earlier on Tuesday it became known that the occupied Zaporozhye nuclear power plant was on the verge of a blackout – the Russians attacked the substation and cut the power to one of the power lines.
