Hungary continues to occupy the largest share in the structure of electricity imports to Ukraine – 35%.
Last month, Ukraine reduced electricity imports by 7.5% compared to August – to 438 thousand MWh. This was reported by the special publication ExPro on Tuesday, October 1.
Supplies decreased in all directions except Poland. In total, 86.1 thousand MWh were supplied from this country in September, which is 78% higher than the volumes in August.
Hungary continues to hold the largest share in the electricity import structure (35%). Slovakia’s share is 24.5%. 16.5 thousand MWh were imported from Moldova, while part of these volumes were re-imported from Romania.
We remind you that today Ukraine imports electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova with a total volume of 8711 MW/h, with a peak power of up to 1023 MW at certain times.
