Zuckerberg’s wealth exceeds $200 billion for the first time

Meta stock quotes have jumped 60% since the beginning of 2024 the company’s capitalization is $1.44 trillion.

The fortune of the founder and head of Meta Platforms, Mark Zuckerberg, exceeded $200 billion for the first time due to the increase in the price of his company’s shares. Bloomberg reported this.

It was noted that Zuckerberg’s wealth grew almost sixfold in less than two years, to $201 billion.

Zuckerberg moved into fourth place on the list of the world’s 500 richest people, behind Tesla chief Elon Musk, Amazon chief Jeff Bezos and French businessman Bernard Arnault, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Since January 1 of this year, Zuckerberg’s fortune has increased by $73.4 billion thanks to his 13% stake in Meta Platforms.

The company’s shares closed at an all-time high on Wednesday, September 25, and are up 60% this year.

Recall that the EU fined Zuckerberg’s Meta 91 million euros for storing the passwords of some users without protection or encryption.
