The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened slightly against the dollar in the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Friday, September 20.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine fell by 5 kopecks to 41.75 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate did not change – 46.60 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 41.25 UAH, and euros for 45.80 UAH.

Yesterday, the National Bank reduced the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate after growing for eight days in a row – 41.4445 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.0063 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 46.2396 UAH per 1 euro (+0.1297 UAH). This is a new all-time high.
The day before, the NBU left the discount rate unchanged at 13% per annum for the second consecutive time. Such a decision will help return inflation to the 5% target in the coming years and support the stability of the foreign exchange market, the regulator believes.
