In the eastern and northern regions of Ukraine, some communication difficulties may still arise, the company said.
Mobile operator Kyivstar officially confirmed the existence of communication problems and promised to solve them within 30 minutes. This was reported by the company’s press service on the social network X on Thursday, September 19.
“Today there was a technical failure in the operation of some Kyivstar network services, our specialists have identified the problem and are working quickly to eliminate the consequences,” the message said.
The company noted that in the eastern and northern regions of Ukraine there may be some communication difficulties.
“But within 30 minutes they will be resolved,” added the press service and thanked consumers for their patience and understanding.
Earlier on Thursday it became known that the users of the Kyivstar network are very much complaining about the failure. Problems are observed in the region of Kharkov, Cherkassy, Krivoy Rog, Chernigov, Zaporozhye.
We remind you that in December 2023, Kyivstar reported a major failure in its network. The company later confirmed the information about the cyber attack. This was done by Russian hackers from the Solntsepek group. It is a hacker unit of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (better known as the GRU).
