The draft state budget for 2025 was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This was confirmed by the bill card data on the parliament website on Saturday, September 14.
It is indicated that now the document has been received by the Rada and submitted for consideration to the leadership of the parliament and the relevant committee.
A day before it became known that the government approved the draft state budget for next year. As the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Denis Shmigal said, revenues are expected at the level of UAH 2 trillion, and expenses are planned at the level of UAH 3.6 trillion. At the same time, defense spending will increase to at least UAH 2.22 trillion.
Earlier in September, the Rada adopted in the first reading the bill No. 11417 on increasing defense spending by 500 billion hryvnias by 2024.
