The National Bank of Ukraine lowered the hryvnia’s exchange rate against the dollar after the US currency hit a one-month low. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Monday, September 9.
So, the official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 41.0948. for 1 dollar (+0.0780 UAH). In turn, the euro continued its significant decline – 45.383 UAH (-0.1744 UAH).
Today in the interbank market the dollar exchange rate immediately increased by 16 kopecks, to 41.13-41.16 UAH/dollar. (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
Meanwhile, in the cash market, the dollar fell to the price of 5 kopecks – 41.35 UAH.
It was previously known that in August, Ukraine’s international reserves increased by 13.7% (by $5.096 billion) to $42.331 billion. They bounced back after falling for four straight months.
