The hryvnia exchange rate began to rise against the dollar at exchange offices after the American currency fell on the interbank market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Thursday, September 5.
The average dollar selling rate in Ukraine decreased by 5 kopecks – to 41.45 Hryvnia, the euro rate increased by 5 kopecks – to 45.95 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices bought dollars for an average of 40.95 UAH, and euros for 45.22 UAH.

Yesterday, the National Bank increased the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate for the third day in a row – 41.2766 UAH (+0.0126 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 45.6065 UAH (+0.0634 UAH).
We remind you that in August the National Bank reduced the sale of foreign currency from reserves. The number of interventions has been minimal in the past three months.
It is also known that the NBU has introduced a limit on transfers from card to card. So, the regulator has declared war on “drops”.
