The hryvnia exchange rate fell slightly against the dollar after the price of the US currency rose on the interbank foreign exchange market on Monday. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Tuesday, September 3.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 5 kopecks to 41.40 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate remained stable at 45.85 Hryvnia.
Today, exchangers buy the dollar for an average of 40.90 UAH, and the euro for 45.15 UAH.
In the interbank market, the dollar exchange rate was at the level of 41.22-41.25 UAH (buying and selling) – an increase of another 5 kopecks compared to the previous day’s closing.
Yesterday, the National Bank increased the exchange rate of the dollar against the Hryvnia after declining for four days in a row – UAH 41.0976 (+0.0384 UAH). In turn, the euro continued to fall – 45.4622 UAH per euro (-0.0396 UAH).
We remind you that in August the National Bank reduced the sale of foreign currency from reserves. The number of interventions has been minimal in the past three months.
It is also known that the NBU has introduced a limit on transfers from card to card. So, the regulator declared war on “drops”.
