Sanctions were imposed on civil and cargo airports in Moscow (Vnukovo and Domodedovo), Khabarovsk, Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod and other cities.
President Vladimir Zelensky supported a new package of sanctions by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine against 73 business entities – airports and air cargo companies – and 74 individuals of the Russian Federation. This is stated in the corresponding presidential decree.
Among the business entities on which sanctions were imposed were Russian civil and cargo airports in Moscow (Vnukovo and Domodedovo), Khabarovsk, Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod and a dozen other Russian cities.
Russian transport, air cargo and service companies are also subject to restrictions.
In addition, the National Security and Defense Council imposed sanctions against 74 individuals of the Russian Federation. The restrictions include freezing assets, limiting trade operations, flights and transportation within Ukraine, preventing capital withdrawals outside Ukraine, terminating trade agreements and banning technology transfer.
Let’s recall that Zelensky previously extended sanctions against pro-Russian figures for 10 years, and the United States tightened sanctions against Russian metallurgical companies.
