A record eight thousand cars were sold in Ukraine in August

The Japanese brand TOYOTA continues to hold leadership in the new car market. In August, 1,248 of these vessels joined the Ukrainian fleet.

Over the past month, more than 8.1 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine. Ukravtoprom reported this on Monday, September 2.

Compared to August last year, consumer activity in the car market increased by 40%.

This is a 32-month record for new passenger car sales.

The Japanese brand TOYOTA continues to hold leadership in the new car market. In August, 1,248 of these vessels joined the Ukrainian fleet.

RENAULT is in second place – 738 units, BMW is third – 633 units.

In total, since the beginning of the year, more than 47.3 thousand new passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine, which is 24% more than the same period in 2023.

We reported that in the first half of 2024, a third more cars were imported into Ukraine than in the same period last year.

We remind you that sales of new cars have increased significantly in Ukraine. In July, about 6.4 thousand new passenger cars were registered, which is 20% more than last year. Compared to June 2024, sales increased by 24%.
