In the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by 4 kopecks – up to 41.30-41.35 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine significantly increased the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia. And the euro in general exceeded the psychological threshold of 46 UAH and updated the historical record. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Monday, August 26.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 41.3591 (+0.1355 UAH). In turn, the euro exchange rate will be 46.1816 UAH (+0.3410 UAH). This is a new all-time high. The previous one was on August 23 – 45.9826 UAH.
In the interbank market, the price of the American currency increased by 4 kopecks – up to 41.30-41.35 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s closing.
In the cash market, the dollar rose by 5 kopecks to 41.50 hryvnia.
Let us remind you that in July the NBU sold a record amount of dollars since the beginning of the year. Net sales were $3.316 billion.
