The average dollar selling rate increased to 41.50 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased to 46.20 hryvnia.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia began to fall against the dollar and the euro at the exchange offices at the beginning of the new working week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Monday, August 26.
The average selling rate of the dollar increased by 10 kopecks to 41.50 Hryvnia, the euro rate increased by 10 kopecks to 46.20 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 41.50 UAH, and euros for 45.50 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.29-41.31 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – unchanged compared to the previous day’s close.
Last Friday, the National Bank reduced the dollar to Hryvnia exchange rate for the third day in a row – today’s official rate is set at UAH 41.2236 (-0.0645 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 45.8406 UAH (-0.1420 UAH).
Let us remind you that in July the NBU sold a record amount of dollars since the beginning of the year. Net sales were $3.316 billion.
