In the interbank market, the price of the American currency increased by 13 kopecks – up to 41.41-41.43 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine has increased the exchange rate of the dollar and euro against the hryvnia. The trend was observed for the second consecutive day. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Monday, August 19.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 41.3027 (+0.0917 UAH). The euro exchange rate will be 45.6085 UAH (+0.3094 UAH). This is a new all-time high. The previous one was recorded on August 15 – 45.5497.

In the cash market, the dollar rose by 5 kopecks – 41.45 hryvnia.
Remind us that in July, Ukrainians bought a record amount of cash currency for 12 years – $2.775 billion. Net purchases were $1.117 billion.
