The National Bank reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar by 9 kopecks, and the euro by 24 kopecks. The official exchange rate of the dollar is set at 41.22 UAH, while the euro is 44.64 UAH.
The selling rate of cash dollars in the exchange offices of Kyiv banks on the morning of August 5 increased compared to August 2 by 1.59 kopecks, to 41.5478 UAH, the buying rate – by 2.78 kopecks, to 40.9426 UAH. BIN.ua reported this on Monday, August 5.
The average buying rate of the euro increased by 28.89 kopecks, up to 44.5730 UAH/EUR, the selling rate – by 36.33 kopecks, up to 45.4000 UAH.
While the official exchange rate of the dollar is set at 41.22 UAH, the euro – 44.64 UAH (since July 31, the dollar is 41.13 UAH, the euro – 44.40 UAH). The National Bank reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar by 9 kopecks, and the euro by 24 kopecks.
We remind you that in July, Ukrainians bought a record amount of cash currency for 12 years – $2.775 billion. Net purchases were $1.117 billion.
It was also reported that over the past week the structural deficit of foreign currency decreased in the interbank market – the NBU sold $784.63 million. This is 17.4% lower than last week.
