In the interbank market, the American currency rose by 10 kopecks – to 41.25-41.28 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine raised the official rates of the dollar and euro after eight days of denial. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, August 2.
Thus, the dollar exchange rate on Monday was set at UAH 41.2250 (+0.0860 UAH). The euro rose significantly in price – 44.6467 UAH (+0.2454 UAH).
Today in the interbank market, the American currency increased by 10 kopecks – at 41.25-41.28 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks to 41.50 hryvnia.
Remind us that in July, Ukrainians bought a record amount of cash currency for 12 years – $2.775 billion. Net purchases were $1.117 billion.
It was also reported that over the past week the structural deficit of foreign currency decreased in the interbank market – the NBU sold $784.63 million. This is 17.4% lower than last week.
