Sales of new cars increased sharply in Ukraine

The Japanese brand Toyota continues to hold leadership in the new car market. In July, the Ukrainian car fleet was filled with 1,024 new cars of this brand.

In July, about 6.4 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 20% more than last year. Compared to June 2024, an increase of 24%. It was reported by Ukravtoprom.

It was noted that the Japanese brand Toyota continues to hold leadership in the new car market. In July, the Ukrainian car fleet was filled with 1,024 new cars of this brand.

Next in popularity is BMW – 628 cars, the third result is Renault with 587 registrations.

The top five also includes Skoda (378 cars) and Volkswagen (334).

Renault Duster became the bestseller of the month – 541 units of this model were sold.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 39.2 thousand new passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine, which is 21% more than the same period in 2023.

We remind you that the government’s bill to increase the military tax to 15% when buying new passenger cars has caused an unprecedented upheaval in the car market.

It was also reported that in Ukraine the demand for used cars from the United States has doubled.
